<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail 1 that allows for improving convenience and saving electricity. <P>SOLUTION: A handrail 1 comprises: a main body 2 to be hand gripped; a supporting member 3 to fix the main body 2 to an installation object 50; a translucent body 5 attached to the main body 2; an LED 13 which is a light source positioned close to the translucent body 5; a human sensor 14 to detect a moving object; and an illuminance sensor 15 with a threshold value set for stopping a function of the human sensor 14 when illuminance exceeds the same. The LED 13 is configured to emit light when the human sensor 14 detects the moving object. The translucent body 5 is configured to eradiate the light outward which is received from the LED 13. The main body 2 and the supporting member 3 are separate bodies which are mutually detachable. Because a connection position of the main body 2 with respect to the supporting member 3 can be changed, a position of the translucent body 5 on the handrail 1 can also be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
