PURPOSE: An apparatus for crushing waste is provided to crush all the waste passing through a fixed blade, and to discharge the crushed waste through an outlet, thereby improving crushing efficiency of the waste. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for crushing waste comprises a main body(10), a first crushing unit(20), and a second crushing unit(30). An input part between guide plates(19) has a shape of which the upper side is wide and the lower side is narrow. Rotary blades(23) on the first crushing unit are arranged on the outer circumferential surface of a rotary shaft(21) in rows. Multiple protrusions(21a) are formed on the outer circumferential surface of a rotary shaft. The protrusions can be attached to or detached from the rotary blades. The rotary blades forming each row are arranged into a stepped shape in order to form an inclined portion. The rotary blades of the inclined portion are alternately arranged.
