<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor module whose body can be reduced in height, and an image reading device incorporating the image sensor module. <P>SOLUTION: An image sensor module 301 comprises: light receiving means 32 which includes a plurality of light receiving units arranged side by side along the main scanning direction; a substrate 31 which supports the light receiving means 32; a lens member 341 which is located on one side away from the light receiving means 32 in a sub-scanning direction y; optical path change means 35 which is located on one side away from the lens member 341 in the sub-scanning direction y; and light emitting means 36 which is located on one side away from the optical path change means 35 in the sub-scanning direction y.
