METHOD FOR PRODUCING SILVER-COPPER COMPOSITE NANOPARTICLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver-copper nanoparticles in which silver and copper are present in the same particle.

SOLUTION: A method for producing silver-copper composite nanoparticles includes a step of performing the simultaneous reduction of a silver salt and a copper salt by using an ammonia-borane complex in a polyhydric alcohol solution under the existence of a water-soluble polymer, the silver-copper composite nanoparticles being dispersed in the water-soluble polymer and having an average particle size of 20 nm or less.
