PURPOSE: A battery pack is provided to simplify assembling process, to prevent electric short, and to reduce welding points. CONSTITUTION: A battery comprises a secondary battery with a case(111) and a first terminal(112); and a safety element which is electrically connected to the secondary battery. The safety element comprises an insulating holder(121); and a thermal safety device(122) including a body and a first and second lead plate(122a,122c) which are extended from the body. The thermal safety device is mounted to inner side of the insulating holder and allows the insulating holder to be inserted between the thermal safety device and the secondary battery. The thermal safety device is electrically connected to the first terminal by the first lead plate.
