The invention relates to an adaptation made in order to connect a polar wheel, as a component of a braking installation allowing the passenger car axles to be unlocked as a consequence of the braking effect obtained by applying the shoes onto the wheels, in conjunction with the railway state. According to the invention, the axle adaptation includes a polar wheel () mounted on a support (), both of them being rigidly fixed on a front surface of a journal () of each mounted axle and, by means of a speed transducer (), transmitting the rotation motion received from the axle, as electric pulses, to a microprocessor change-over apparatus which, depending on the state of the wheels, controls some electromagnetic valves as to discharge the air from a brake cylinder with a view to unlocking the same.
|
