<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a step-up gear for wind-power generation that is highly reliable and has a long service life even though being small, lightweight, and low-cost. <P>SOLUTION: A step-up gear (50) for wind-power generation includes a planetary gear mechanism 52. The step-up gear further includes a planetary gear 68 that constitutes one element of the planetary gear mechanism 52, and a carrier (a support member) 62 (62A, 62B) that rotatably supports the planetary gear 68 via a roller bearing 76. Any parts other than a relatively rotating part in the roller bearing 76 are formed with clearances S1, S2 that allow at least two of the planetary gear 68, the roller bearing 76, and the carrier (the support member) 62 to be relatively, radially and infinitesimally displaceable.
