<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder that can adequately collect ink which is ejected from a recording head and is not used for recording of an image and can reuse the ink, and to provide an ink collecting method. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder 1 includes the recording head 20, an ink tank 60, an ink tray 78, a relay tank 80, an ink collecting fluid channel 706, an ink circulating fluid channel 708, a collection side switching section 82, and a collection side pump 84. The ink tray 78 receives the ink ejected from nozzles of the recording head 20 and the relay tank 80 reserves the received ink. The ink reserved in the relay tank 80 is conveyed by the collection side pump 84, and when the collection side switching section 82 is in a collection state, the ink flows in the ink collecting fluid channel 706 to flow into the ink tank 60. When the collection side switching section 82 is in a circulation state, the ink flows in the ink circulating fluid channel 708 to flow into the relay tank 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
