<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto-tensioner which makes bubbles hardly enter hydraulic oil in a pressure chamber and whose manufacturing cost is low. <P>SOLUTION: The auto-tensioner includes: a sleeve 10 provided coaxially in a cylinder 9; a pressure chamber 17 and a reservoir chamber 18 formed by partitioning the inside of the cylinder 9 by inserting a rod 11 slidably in the sleeve 10; an oil passage 24 provided to communicate between the pressure chamber 17 and the reservoir chamber 18; a check valve 29 provided at the pressure chamber 17 end side of the oil passage 24; and a return spring 13, which is arranged at the outer diameter side of the cylinder 9 to urge a spring seat 12 fixed on the rod 11. In this auto-tensioner, a cylindrical collar 23 is fitted between the lower outer periphery of the sleeve 10 and the lower inner periphery of the cylinder 9, a bottom part 23B is formed that supports the sleeve 10 on the collar 23 from below, the oil passage 24 is formed from the upper end of the collar 23 so as to reach the lower end of the pressure chamber 17, and a presser spring 42, which presses the sleeve 10 downward, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
