<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and effort of an operation of adjusting the position where a folding line is provided. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises: a folding position image recording means for recording a folding position image (203) on a medium (S) on the basis of a stored folding position when an operation of adjusting the position of the folding line is started; a folding line providing means for providing the folding line (204) on the medium (S) on which the folding position image is recorded on the basis of the stored folding position; a reading control means for reading the folding line (204) and the folding position image (203) of the medium (S); a difference measuring means for measuring a difference (ΔL1) between a folding image position and a folding line position; and a folding position update means for updating the folding position on the basis of the measured difference (ΔL1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
