PURPOSE: A face recognition possibility determination method for a face image obtained in a camera of an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) is provided to evaluate a face recognition possibility for various angles of face poses. CONSTITUTION: User access or an initial operation for an ATM is confirmed. Face images of a user are photographed and obtained. One of the face images is selected. A face element for a face of the user is extracted from the selected face image. When the face element is eyes and a mouth, an operation of the user is approved. When the face element is not eyes and a mouth, the operation is blocked.
