The device (1) has a rotatable grinding disk or roller (2) including a grinding covering (3), which is rotational symmetric at a rotational axis. A dressing tool (4) i.e. rotary roller-like dressing tool, is arranged at an end of a sonotrode (8) of an ultrasonic transducer (6) by a holder. The dressing tool is formed from a metallic compound with embedded hard materials. The metallic compound includes a resonance frequency, which approximately matches to the sonotrode and/or the holder. The hard materials are grains, which are made of cubic boron nitride, diamond, ceramic and/or hard metal. An independent claim is also included for a method for conditioning a running surface of a board-like winter sports device. |
