<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform timing adjustment without any excess nor deficiency as compared with timing adjustment at time intervals fixed in advance without requiring mounting of a temperature sensor. <P>SOLUTION: When a device including a plurality of memories is started or the device is released from a power-saving mode, a leveling operation is executed. The temperatures of the plurality of memories are estimated on the basis of the leveling result of the executed leveling operation. Times when the temperatures of the plurality of memories reach temperatures at boundaries in a plurality of temperature sections in which the temperatures of the plurality of memories are fixed in advance are estimated in a period from starting of the execution of processing to be executed in the device including the plurality of memories to finishing or stopping of the processing on the basis of the estimated temperatures and a rise temperature per unit time of the plurality of memories fixed in advance according to content of the processing.
