<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying vivid images with well-balanced colors of EL elements and well-balanced light emission luminance. <P>SOLUTION: When an EL element in a pixel is designed to be supplied with larger current, leading wiring for supplying voltage or current to the EL element in the pixel is set to be larger in width. Thus, the larger current the EL element in the pixel is to be supplied with, the smaller wiring resistance the leading wiring for supplying voltage or current to the EL element in the pixel has. The reduced wiring resistance produces less voltage drop across the wiring, so that the current flowing to the EL element can be increased. In a practical panel where there is only limited space for disposing leading wiring, the ratio among the widths of leading wires for individual colors can be varied to regulate the magnitudes of currents flowing through EL elements of individual colors in a balanced manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
