PURPOSE: A food treatment apparatus is provided to guide circulation of food waste in a rotating drum and to improve treating efficiency and decomposition efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A food treatment apparatus comprises a support bracket(10), a stirring unit(20), an inlet(30), a driving unit(40), an air supply unit(50), and an opposite blade(70). The stirring unit comprises a cylindrical rotating drum(21) and a spiral blade(23). Both ends of the rotating drum are supported by the support bracket. The air supply unit is integrated to the front part of the rotating drum. Air or hot wind is supplied into the rotating drum. The opposite blade is formed on the outer side of the air supply unit and has a spiral shape inclined in the opposite direction of the blade in the rotating drum. The treating object is transferred in the opposite direction of the transfer direction.
