<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation accuracy for estimating a fully charged capacity of a secondary battery from a changing amount of the capacity of the secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The estimation device includes a controller (30) for estimating the fully charged capacity of the secondary battery. The controller acquires a sectional capacity which is a battery capacity when an open circuit voltage of the secondary battery has changed from a first voltage to a second voltage, and identifies the fully charged capacity corresponding to the acquired sectional capacity by using information indicating a correspondence relation between the sectional capacity and the fully charged capacity that changes according to deterioration of the secondary battery. In this case, the first voltage and the second voltage are contained in a voltage range where the battery capacity tends to vary in response to a change in a negative electrode voltage accompanying the deterioration of the secondary battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
