摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress display unevenness with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optical device comprises: a pixel circuit; and a driving circuit for driving the pixel circuit. The pixel circuit includes: a transistor 131 and an OLED 140 connected in series between a power source line 116 and an electrode 117; and a capacitive element 136 whose one end is connected to a source node s of the transistor 131 and other end is connected to a signal line 118. In an initialization period, the driving circuit supplies a low side potential Vel_L to the power source line 116 and an initialization potential causing the transistor 131 to be a conduction state to a gate node g of the transistor 131. In a set period, the driving circuit supplies a high side potential Vel_H to the power source line 116 and the initialization potential to the gate node g. In a writing period, the driving circuit supplies a data signal of a potential corresponding to a gradation level to the gate node g. The driving circuit supplies a ramp signal that causes a potential to be Vref from the initialization period to the middle of the set period, raises the potential from Vref to Vx at the middle thereof and, subsequently, linearly lowers the potential to Vref to the signal line 118. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
