<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus and an image forming system, capable of preventing breakage and scratches of a sheet in a folding process of folding the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet processing apparatus includes: a sheet holding unit 32; a third folding roller 233; a first folding roller 231; and a second folding plate member 270. The sheet holding unit 32 is configured to hold the sheet S. The third folding roller 233 is provided on the downstream side of the sheet holding unit 32 in the sheet conveying direction. The first folding roller 231 is configured to form a second nip portion N2 in press contact with the third folding roller 233. Besides, the first folding roller 231 is provided closer to the sheet holding unit 32 than the third folding roller 233.
