PURPOSE: A connecting method and a slim type speaker using the same are provided to improve an output performance by improving the weight lightening of a vibrator. CONSTITUTION: A slim type speaker(100) applies a connecting member(162) combining with a non-circular voice coil(160). The slim type speaker comprises a rectangular housing, a vibration plate(150), a magnetic circuit, and a voice coil(160). The rectangular housing comprises a cover(170) and a frame(110). The magnetic circuit forms a magnetic gap arranged at the bottom of the rectangular housing. The voice coil operates a vibration plate by connecting to the magnetic circuit. The voice coil is formed as a long non-circular type. The connecting member is connected to the inside or outside of the voice coil and connects the voice coil to the vibration plate. |
