<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very practical and simple method for efficiently producing a resveratrol (RES) and a derivative thereof and a key intermediate for RES synthesis from an easily-available raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: obtaining a key intermediate (3, 5-dimethoxy-4'-acetoxystilbene derivative) for RES synthesis by reacting 3,5-dimethoxyphenyl boronic acid derivative that can lead to RES synthesis and 4-acetoxystyrene derivative under an acid coupling condition in which a palladium catalyst is used; and then, producing RES and a derivative thereof through demethylating and deacetylating reactions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
