<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network connection device and a method therefor, capable of easily selecting a profile, among a plurality of profiles under control, corresponding to a wired LAN to which the device is connected, when connecting to the wired LAN. <P>SOLUTION: A network connection device includes: a wired LAN connection detection part for detecting a connection of a LAN cable; a profile management part for managing profiles; a profile selection part for sequentially selecting at least one profile that indicates a connection of wired LAN; a network setting part for setting a network on the basis of the selected profile; a network identification information acquisition part for acquiring network identification information; a network determination part for determining whether a wired LAN connected with LAN cable is matching to a network indicated by the profile; and a network connection part for applying the profile if the matching is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
