PURPOSE: A driving device of a liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to improve power consumption reducing effect by preventing the drastic current variation of common voltage. CONSTITUTION: A calculation amplification circuit(20) is arranged between a high potential voltage source(VDD) and a low potential voltage source(GND) in a rail mode. The calculation amplification circuit respectively outputs selection signals of positive and negative polarities to a positive and negative polarity selection signal output port. First and second switching elements(SW1,SW2) are respectively connected to the positive and negative polarity selection signal output port of the calculation amplification circuit. The first and second switching elements respectively supply the pre-charging voltage of the positive and negative polarities to the positive and negative polarity selection signal output port. A plurality of output switching elements(PTr,NTr) outputs for the common voltage level to be swung.
