<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a fall-prevention structure for seismic-isolated buildings, which, allowing rocking, can unfailingly prevent a building from falling even when the aspect ratio of the building is large, and furthermore enables vibration control performance in both vertical and lateral directions to be given to the buildings; and a seismic-isolated building with the structure installed. <P>SOLUTION: A fall-prevention structure for seismic-isolated buildings in the present invention comprises an outer fall-prevention structure B1 which is installed outside a seismic-isolated building A. The outer fall-prevention structure B1 consists of: an outer jut part 7 formed by extending outward in the lateral direction T1 a lower seismic-isolation-device-fixing member 5 of a lower structure body A2, to which the lower-end side of a seismic-isolation device 1 is connected; an outer fall-prevention structure main body 8, which, being connected to an upper seismic-isolation-device-fixing member 6 of an upper structure body A1, to which the upper-end side of the seismic-isolation device 1 is connected, is run in the vertical direction T2 with a designated spacing in the lateral direction T1 against the outer jut part 7, and is run with a designated spacing in the vertical direction T2 under the outer jut part 7; and a vibration control device 9 which is installed at a space available in the vertical direction T2 between the outer fall-prevention structure main body 8 and the outer jut part 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
