Preparing titanium dioxide particle comprises producing a solution of glucose, titanium(III) chloride and aqueous ammonia in water and/or in a solvent or in a solvent mixture; heating the solution at a temperature at 160-180[deg] C for 4-8 hours; cooling the solution; and filtering solid materials comprising the titanium dioxide particle; and washing and drying the particle, where the molar ratio of glucose:water:titanium(III) chloride:aqueous ammonia is (0.1-0.5):(1-5):(6-10):(6-8), and the ammonia is added drop wise.
