<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability when the removed cover of a scanner is attached again to be restored. <P>SOLUTION: A scanner includes: hinge parts that rotatably support a cover against the body of the scanner; holding parts that are provided on the body side and vertically slidably hold components of the hinge parts; and restriction parts that restrict the rotation of the cover when the cover is opened. The cover can be disengaged from the body. When components are pulled upward from the holding parts, the cover and hinge parts are integrally disengaged from the body. When a force is given so as to open the cover beyond the restriction of the restrict parts, at least one of the components and holding parts are subjected to elastic deformation and the components are disengaged from holding parts, making the cover and hinge parts being disengaged from the body integrally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
