INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD, PACKET DATA GATEWAY, AND POLICY AND CHARGING RULES FUNCTION

Disclosed are an information transmission method, a packet data gateway, and a policy and charging rules function. The method comprises that after the Mobile IPv6 support for Dual Stack Hosts and Routers (DSMIPv6) binding update signaling is received, the source User Datagram Protocol (UPD) port number of the DSMIPv6 binding update signaling is informed to the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) by the Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW); and the source UPD port number of the DSMIPv6 binding update signaling is informed to the fixed broadband access network by the PCRF. The above method provides the UPD port number to the fixed broadband access network according to whether the user plane data is IPSec encapsulated, which enables the fixed broadband access network to identify the user plane data of the user equipment correctly and perform corresponding policy control.
