PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a light unit including the same are provided to prevent moisture from penetrating into the surface of a molding member and to improve the reliability of a light emitting chip. CONSTITUTION: Multiple lead frames(21, 23) are formed on a body(31). A light emitting chip is formed on one among the multiple lead frames. A molding material(71) covers the light emitting chip. The molding member includes a first recessed pattern(75) for forming the surface tension of moisture.
