<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, at present, a large number of herbicidal compositions have been developed and used, however, there are many kinds of weeds to be controlled, and the emergence thereof extends over a long period of time, therefore, the appearance of a herbicidal composition, which has a broad weed spectrum and has a high activity and a long continuing effect, is desired. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a synergistic herbicidal composition comprising (A) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of flazasulfuron, nicosulfuron, and their salts and (B) pyroxasulfone or its salt.
