<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based cosmetic which has controlled viscosity increase and controlled liquid separation over time and exhibits an excellent storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-based cosmetic includes (A) aluminum corn starch octenylsuccinate, (B) dextrin fatty acid ester and/or 12-hydroxystearic acid and (C) an anhydride of an inorganic salt.
