A communication apparatus includes: a pulse generation unit (102) configured to alternately generate a positive pulse and a negative pulse indicating presence or absence of a pulse in accordance with a value of a data signal (A1); a band-pass filter (103) configured to filter the pulse (A6) generated by the pulse generator (102); and a transmission amplifier (104) configured to amplify a signal (A7) filtered by the band-pass filter (103), and to output the signal as a transmission signal (A8).
