PURPOSE: A rib processing apparatus of a ribbed reinforcing bar for a rolling roll is provided to process a new rib to correct depth by accurately measuring rib depth of a reused rolling roll. CONSTITUTION: A rib processing apparatus of a ribbed reinforcing bar for a rolling roll comprises a power source(50), a conducting sensor(60), an electronic control unit(70), an alarm device(80). An anode of the power source is connected to a bite holder(12) in which a byte, which processes a rolling roll and ribs is inserted. The conducting sensor senses whether electric current, which includes a rolling roll, a bite holder and power source, applies or not. A commutation signal is delivered to the electronic control unit from the conducting sensor. The alarm device is operated by the electronic control unit when the commutation signal is generated.
