PURPOSE: A centrifugal pump is provided to change a bearing supporting a rotary shaft arranged inside a casing from a ball bearing into a line bearing, thereby extending a lifespan of the bearing. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal pump(100) comprises a casing, a casing cover(120), a rotating shaft(130), an inducer(140), an impeller(150), a balance sheet(160), and a balance tube(170). The casing cover is assembled into one body inside the casing so that a water chamber(122) is formed. The rotary shaft is installed inside the casing cover and supported by a bearing and a line bush. The inducer is assembled in one end of the rotary shaft, thereby inducing fluid flowing through an inlet. The rotating shaft is arranged in a rear end of the inducer and transfers the fluid flowing through the inlet to a diffuser(119) formed between the casing and the casing cover. The balance sheet is arranged between the casing cover and the rotary shaft, thereby reducing the axial thrust of a rear surface of the rotating shaft. The balance tube connects one end of the casing and the casing cover, thereby reducing the pressure of an inner container unit of the casing cover.
