<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the adviser side of consultation to surely obtain status information containing presence information on a person requesting advice, making it possible to process consultation without connection mistakes in data distribution between the adviser and the person requesting advice. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing system, consultation from a person requesting advice to an adviser is processed by using a telephone system connected via a switchboard and a data communication system connected via a network. The information processing system comprises: an estimation unit which, for consultation to an adviser belonging to a first telephone system from a person requesting advice who belongs to a second telephone system differing from the first telephone system, estimates status information on the telephone of the person requesting advice by using status information on the telephone of the adviser; and a distribution control unit which controls data distribution by a data communication system to the communication terminal of the person requesting advice and the communication terminal of the adviser according to the estimated status information on the telephone of the person requesting advice. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
