<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method and device that enable high-sensitivity and high-accuracy detection and determination of cadmium in a sample solution through a simple operation by an electrochemical technique. <P>SOLUTION: A method for using a work electrode 2 consisting of a pair electrode 3 and a carbon electrode to electrochemically analyze cadmium in a sample solution S includes: an addition step of adding a Group 11 element to the sample solution S; an electrodeposition step of applying a voltage, at which a complex of the cadmium and the Group 11 element is deposited on the work electrode, between the work electrode and the pair electrode and electrically depositing the complex on the work electrode in a state of bringing the work electrode and the pair electrode into contact with the sample solution S after adding the Group 11 element; an elution step of applying a voltage, at which the complex electrically deposited on the work electrode is eluted, between the work electrode and the pair electrode, and eluting the complex from the work electrode; and a detection step of detecting current generated between the work electrode and the pair electrode by the elution of the complex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
