摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for a biofuel engine that can adequately maintain filter functions through a process of regenerating a filter for capturing fine particulate components according to the characteristics of fuel used in an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device includes a controller 110 which measures the time required for regeneration that varies according to the characteristics of fuel used in a diesel engine 100 at the regeneration of DPF 130, and specifies the characteristics of the fuel used in the diesel engine 100 based on a change transition measured. The controller 110 then determines a regeneration minimum temperature for the initiation of regeneration of the DFP 130 based on the specified characteristics of the fuel. The controller 110 performs regeneration of the DPF 130 on the condition that an accumulation amount of the DPF 130 reaches a predetermined quantity, and the temperature of the DFP 130 reaches the regeneration minimum temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
