Glucan drug delivery system and adjuvant

A drug is incorporated into a whole beta -glucan microparticle, and the combination is administered to an individual. The beta -glucan vehicle allows sustained release of the drug component while simultaneously enhancing the effectiveness of the drug by boosting the individual's endogenous immune response.
