<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element that is excellent in storage stability and hardly causes liquid crystal contamination, and to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element that are manufactured using the sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element contains a curable resin and a photobase generator which is a substance generating a base by the effect of active energy rays such as ultraviolet rays, electron rays, X rays, infrared rays, and visible light rays, and generates a salt of a base and an organic acid which causes decarboxylation by irradiation of the active energy rays to be decomposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
