An air conditioning device for a vehicle is provided with: a heater core (116) for heating air for air conditioning using, as the heat source for heating the air, the cooling water of a cooling circuit (110) for cooling either the fuel cell (111) of a fuel cell vehicle or the engine of a hybrid vehicle; a heat exchanger (122) for heating, provided to the heater core at a position upstream of the flow of the air for air conditioning and used to heat the air for air conditioning using, as the heat source for heating the air, a refrigerant circulating in a heat pump cycle (120); and a control unit (140) for controlling the operation of the heat pump cycle so that a target heating temperature (TAVO) set as the target temperature value of the air for air conditioning heated by the heat exchanger for heating is changed according to the temperature (TFC) of the cooling water. As a result of the configuration, changing the target heating temperature of the heat exchanger for heating relative to the heating ability of the heater core obtained corresponding to the temperature of the cooling water enables the shortage of the heating ability of the heater core to be compensated by the heat exchanger for heating. This enables required heating ability to be ensured by the heater core and the heat exchanger for heating, and as a result, the temperature of the cooling water can be maintained constant. |
