<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove hydrogen sulfide from a gas containing hydrogen sulfide, such as carbon dioxide recovered from coal-gasified gas, with less energy and to improve the performance of removal of hydrogen sulfide. <P>SOLUTION: Recovered CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>10 recovered from coal-gasified gas through a CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>recovery system 20 is heated to a predetermined temperature and supplied to an adsorption tower 1a or 1b. The adsorption towers 1a and 1b use an adsorbent containing titanium, molybdenum and nickel oxides and make hydrogen sulfide fixed to the adsorbent. In regenerating the adsorbent, an oxidizing gas 12 is heated to a predetermined temperature and supplied to the adsorption tower 1a or 1b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
