TESTING APPARATUS FOR SLIDING PENDULUM ISOLATOR

PURPOSE: A device for testing a pendulum seismic isolator is provided to conveniently and efficiently fix the seismic isolator as a separate supporter for the pendulum seismic isolator is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A device(1) for testing a pendulum seismic isolator comprises a frame(10), a direct pressing press(20), a horizontal force loaded assembly(30), a link(23a), an actuator(40), and a convey pallet(50). The frame comprises a base(11) and a table(17). The direct pressing press is formed in the upper part of the frame. The horizontal force loaded assembly fixes upper plates(13,110) of the pendulum seismic isolator at the bottom and is composed of an actuating plate(31) which has a concave knuckle joint(32) in one side. The link guides both end portions of the actuating plate and respectively connects a plurality of guides(23d) to a table via a link fixing bar. The actuator is fixed to end portions of pistons(21b,44) and cylinders(21a,43) and composed of a convex knuckle joint(46). The convey pallet fixes a lower plate(130) of the pendulum seismic isolator and is drawn in and out of the link along an upper side of the table.
