PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus for mixed steel is provided to prevent scrap caused by mixing of different types of steel during continuous casting of the steel in the same tundish. CONSTITUTION: A cooling apparatus for mixed steel comprises a cooling frame(100) which is installed separately from the bottom of a mold(M) formed at the bottom of a tundish(T) and encloses molten steel strip(P) drawn out to the underside of the mold, a cooling solvent feed pipe connected to the cooling frame, and a cooling nozzle formed inside the cooling frame and extended in the propagating direction of the drawn molten steel strip.
