<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficient control a specific receiver in a CATV network by transmitting control information from a terminal outside the CATV network thereto. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter (CATV station), when a request such as program recording reservation from the terminal outside the CATV network to the specific receiver in the CATV network is accepted, transmits an instruction signal corresponding to the request by repeatedly multiplexing the instruction signal to data broadcast by a data broadcast format, the applicable receiver, when the instruction signal to itself is received, transmits a reception completion signal to the CATV station and thus, the specific receiver is efficiently controlled from the terminal outside the CATV network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
