<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a head cannot be easily positioned with high accuracy in replacing the head. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes head holders 51A, 51B for holding a recording head 6, and a carriage 5 for holding the head holders 51A, 51B. The carriage 5 is movable along a guide member 3 disposed in a main scanning direction. The carriage 5 has a reference shaft member 71 disposed in the same direction as the guide member 3. The head holders 51A, 51B are detachably hooked with hook portions 53 and held on the reference shaft member 71. Further, between the head holder 51 and the carriage 5, an intermediate member 101 is displaceably held to the carriage 5, and a lifting cam 112 is provided for displacing the intermediate member 101 to adjust the position of the head holder 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
