PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents lack of information even in a small character or a pattern close to a Nyquist frequency by switching color conversion according to the size of a character or a graphic.

SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: an extraction unit that analyzes print data to extract a specific object; a detection unit that detects the size of the object; a color conversion unit that makes an output color different according to the size of the object detected by the detection unit; and a printer unit that performs printing according to the designated output color.
