The invention also relates to a method for producing a pressure accumulator (1) for a camshaft adjuster, comprising a pressure accumulator (1) which forms a cavity (3), wherein a piston (7) is inserted in the cavity (3) and thereafter a cover (6) is mounted over the cavity (3), sealing same with respect to the outside, in such a manner that a material portion of the housing (2) or of the cover (6) creates a positive connection between the cover (6) and the housing (2), such that the cover (6) is fixed in the position thereof relative to the housing (2).
