<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin lens image display device which allows an observer to comfortably observe a fusion region with less sense of discomfort. <P>SOLUTION: The twin lens image display device comprises: two image display elements corresponding to each of the right and left eyeballs of the observer; and two observation optical systems for the right and left eyeballs for projecting an original image of each image display element to each of the right and left eyeballs of the observer. In the observation optical systems for the right and left eyeballs, an observation image projected to one eyeball has a fusion region overlapped with a part of an observation image projected to the other eyeball and a single lens region other than the fusion region, and the resolution of the inner side in a horizontal direction to the visual line of the observer is set higher than that of the outer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
