The method involves manufacturing a stack of two spectrally-different sensitive layers (1, 2) from holographic recording material i.e. photopolymer, where one of the layers is sensible for short-wave spectral region. The layers are sequentially or simultaneously exposed to exposure light having wavelength, where the layers are sensitive for the wavelength. The layers are separated from each other by a gap (6) and guided between two rollers (5), where the rollers comprise parallel rotational axes. The layers are pressed on top of each other by the rollers. An independent claim is also included for a solar module comprising a volume hologram.
