<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce points of a point offering company in consideration of respective motives of a point user, the point offering company, a provider of commodities, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A point exchange apparatus according to the present invention includes: a storage unit for storing a first ratio that is a ratio of an amount incurred by a first business entity to a used amount of points and a second ratio that is a ratio of an amount incurred by a second business entity to the amount incurred by the first entity or the used amount of points; and a control unit for calculating an amount of coupons issued by the second entity to a purchaser in exchange for the used amount of points on the basis of the used amount of points, the first ratio, and the second ratio by, for example, acquiring personal information and the used amount of points of the purchaser who desires to use a point exchange service through a network on the basis of input information from a terminal device operated by the purchaser, and determining the amount that should be paid by the second entity to the first entity on the basis of the used amount of points and the first ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
