<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device capable of detecting damage of a package of glass, resin or the like covering a light source part in a light source unit using an LED as a light source. <P>SOLUTION: A light source unit 300 comprises a light source part 331 including an LED, a substrate 332, and a package 330 formed of glass covering the substrate 332. Sensing means 400 is constituted by a microswitch, a lead switch and the like pushed by the package 330 and turned on. The sensing means 400 is mounted to a member for holding a first support part 510a, a second support part 510b, and the like. The sensing means 400 outputs detection signals when detecting damage of the package 330. The detection signals outputted by the sensing means 400 are inputted to a detection device 210 of a light source lighting device 200. When the detection signals are inputted to the detection device 210, a control unit 220 controls a constant current device 230 generating an output for lighting on the LED to be deactivated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
