<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet handling device capable of paying and receiving paper money with optimal property without decreasing the number of denominations whose handling is possible. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet handling device includes: a money payment/reception port 1; cassettes 4a to 4d having a plurality of storage parts capable of storing paper sheets with different properties showing the types of paper sheets in the case of classifying paper sheets by elements other than the types of paper sheets; an identification part 2 for identifying the types and properties of the paper sheets paid from the money payment/reception port; conveyance paths 21 to 25; a storage part for storing a storage part storage state as the storage state of the paper sheets and a cassette storage state as the storage state of the paper sheets in the whole cassettes having the plurality of storage parts in association with each other; and a main control part for executing money payment/reception processing of the paper sheets on the basis of the storage part storage state and cassette storage state stored by the storage part, and for making the storage part store the storage part storage state and the cassette storage state after the execution of the money payment/reception processing of the paper sheets, and for reporting the stored storage part storage state and cassette storage state to a host device which manages the paper sheet handling device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
